YOU ARE.

My journey began with a passion for fashion, evolved through interior design, and culminated in the art of documentary photography. Today, I fuse these influences to create photography that not only captures your essence but ensures you look your best. My commitment is to highlight your true self, with no double chins or goofy faces left uncorrected.

When you hire a professional, you're investing in quality, from perfect positioning and posing to flawless execution. I bring professional-grade equipment, complete with backups and full insurance, ensuring a seamless experience. I'll guide you if there's a quirky detail to tweak, or shift you out of unflattering light to showcase your best angle.

Documenting life as we see it is important, but so is making sure that you look your best - especially if you are not feeling up to pro standard in front of the camera! My technique is fun and full of motion. I might make you engage in a game of "Guess Who" or responding to prompts that create spontaneous reactions to ridiculous requests. A prompt can be something like "Whisper in her ear what you had for breakfast with your most sultry sexy voice." These type of directions CREATE authentic responses which make for candid images. If you have nothing to laugh about, then your photos are going to fall pretty flat, right?

If this resonates with you, drop me an email and share a bit about your dream wedding day or portrait session!

BEHIND
THE LENS

TID BITS ABOUT ME

// I grew up in Mississauga but before ever living on my own, I lived abroad for 4 years travelling to Asia, Africa and India. I found various orphanages in Thailand and Tanzania to volunteer at so that I could truly get to know the culture, people and give back to children in need.

// I graduated from Sheridan College for Photography and even learned how to shoot on a 4x4 camera.

// On a snowy blizzard night in Toronto, I met my husband while walking my best friend's dog. We chatted about travel and when he asked for my phone number, I said I would take his. Upon reaching for my phone, it had frozen and wouldn't work. He didn't have his phone but he told me he was good with numbers. He memorized my phone number and texted me hours later. The rest was history! (I just learned his phone number by heart last year....shhhhhhh)

// When I am not taking photos, I am likely refinishing furniture or deep in a carpentry or decor creation. I absolutely LOVE creating things with my hands and seeing that vision come to life.

// I aim to show my 2 beautiful kids the beauty of the world and the people in it. I am a glass is half full kinda gal with the belief that the "I don't know how" phrase is complete and utter nonsense.
