Mini sessions are my favourite way to connect with new families and nurture relationships with ongoing clients. They’re not only a cost-effective way to keep your photo collection fresh but also an excellent opportunity for those new to being photographed, especially for kids who might be particularly shy or energetic. These sessions serve as a stepping stone towards a more extensive photo shoot experience.

What's the Difference Between a Mini Session and a Full Session?

MINI SESSIONS

Duration & Cost: Mini sessions are concise, typically lasting 20 minutes, and are priced between $225-$275.

Location & Timing: I choose the location, date, and time slots to streamline the process.

What You Get: You receive 8-10 curated images, with the option to purchase additional images if desired.

Ideal For: Those looking for quick, beautiful photos without a significant time commitment. Especially great for families with older kids who take direction or on the opposite kids who have a short attention span.

FULL FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSIONS

Duration: These sessions range from 1 to 3 hours, allowing for a more leisurely pace and a variety of backdrops + looks

Flexibility: You choose the location, date, and time, making it tailored to your schedule and preferences.

Inclusions: All images are provided in high resolution, along with assistance in location scouting and session theming. There is no cap on the amount of final captures.

Experience: Perfect for families with young children or babies who need more time to warm up and play. It allows for outfit changes, props, and capturing a variety of shots.

Rescheduling: In case of bad weather, sessions are rescheduled at no extra cost.

Best Suited For: Families wanting comprehensive lifestyle photography, especially in unique settings like a farmstead, where time is needed to capture the essence of the place.

WHY CHOOSE A FULL SESSION?

Full sessions are ideal when you envision capturing a wide array of moments without the pressure of a tight schedule. They cater beautifully to the natural rhythms of children, allowing for breaks, warming up to the camera, and creating an environment where everyone can relax and be themselves. This format is particularly beneficial for big families or those with very active or shy kids, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and you get the most out of your session. My style is very candid, so the more you play together, the better your results. Sessions are more about a feeling of the family than a posed photograph smiling at the camera.
