A BRIGHTHOUSE FARM WEDDING, Where modern meets vintage | P.E.C

A Brazilian beauty meets a handsome Torontonian, and the rest, as they say, is history. These two are just smitten with each other, and it truly shows.

A down-to-earth couple with a taste for both modern and vintage found their dream wedding venue in The Brighthouse Farm, located in Prince Edward County. This place has the most adorable farmhouse for getting ready and staying the night, alongside a beautifully lit wooden barn exuding modern boho vibes. It's rustic yet upscale, without being stuffy. Everything is on-site, so there's no need to worry about shuttling between locations. What drew me to this spot was the endless photo opportunities: the charming farmhouse, the expansive front lawn, fields of long grasses or hay, a sunflower garden, a grassy tunnel, and an open-shaded area perfect for portraits. Could it get any better? Well, actually, yes—it can. The sunset casts the most epic patterns of light and shadow through the barn just before guests enter, setting the stage for some stunning reception decor shots. If you're into that sort of thing, you know exactly what I mean.

But let's talk about Nathalia and Dave and their incredible farm wedding day because I could go on forever about The Brighthouse farm. Their wedding was, quite honestly, one of my all-time favourites. It was a beautiful, sunny day (a bit windy, but hey, wind can make for some fantastic shots). Their crowd of loving friends was the epitome of fun. You can tell these two have a knack for making connections because they had so many friends there! The energy was electric, the emotions were palpable, and the pace was just perfect.

I think it's safe to say that everyone enjoyed this day as much as Nathalia and Dave did. One of the best parts of a short destination wedding is that you can genuinely let go and enjoy yourself without the rush to get home. Guests were shuttled to nearby hotels and Airbnb's for a relaxing little Canadian getaway. In my books, this wedding gets an A+.
